How to Transfer ROSE into Emerald ParaTime

To obtain gas fee (RSOE), you will need to transfer ROSE token from Oasis Network (native wallet) to Oasis Emerald EVM ParaTime (MetaMask)

1. You will need to install Oasis Network (not EVM, but mainnet) wallet extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/oasis-wallet/ppdadbejkmjnefldpcdjhnkpbjkikoip

2. You will need to create new wallet and save your seed phrase (preferably offline)

3. Obtain $ROSE token from one of the exchange like binance, a list of CEX supporting $ROSE can be found here: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/oasis-network

4. Withdraw obtained $ROSE token to the wallet you have created during step 1. Wallet should start with oasis1qr…. indicting Oasis Mainnet. Make sure it is not EVM wallet (starts with 0x..).

5. Now you have to deposit ROSE to EVM paratime. Navigate to the “ParaTimes” tab. For the sake of demonstration, we’ll continue with the Emerald ParaTime. Under Emerald click on the “To ParaTime” button.

Fill in the “Amount” of ROSE that you want to transfer to Emerald and, in our case, your compatible address (starts with 0x.. from MetaMask) in the “To” field you imported/created before. Then, click “Next”, review and confirm the transaction.

After a minute, you should see ROSE balance in your MetaMask wallet that you have provided at the last step.

Alternatively, if you do not manage to perform the above steps, please post your concern to Discord and community or team will send you some ROSE for gas fee.
